Dr. Furmli was born & raised in Toronto with parents of Afghan descent. He completed his undergraduate studies in Cell and Molecular Biology at the University of Toronto (UofT), followed by Medical School and Family Medicine residency at UofT.

He worked extensively in serving new immigrants and refugees and completed his Certificate of Travel Health in 2022. Dr. Furmli is certified as a designated Marine Medical Examiner for Transport Canada and is available for Marine Medical examinations. He has extensive experience in pre-employment medical exams and services. He takes pride in serving a diverse community of needs and maintaining a professional and inclusive clinic setting.
